The Yangtze River originates from Jianggendiru glacier on the southeast side of Geladandong Peak in Tanggula Mountain.

Geladandong, ¡°the high, pointed peak¡± in Tibetan, is 6,620m above sea level. It is as spotless and fabulous as a crystal palace.

The sparkling and crystal-clear ice towers , bridges , forests and columns are the creation of Nature.
