    "Magnificent Spectacle of Tibetan Drawing Art of China" is extraordinarily large monumental work of Regong art in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

    It' a scroll painting which has recorded as a Genius Record. This painting is 618 meters long and 2.5 meters wide.

    It' drawn with the colors of some mineral substances such as gold, silver and gem and some plants such as saffron crocus and madder.

    It took more than 300 excellent artists from Tibet, Yunnan, Gansu, Sichuan and Qinghai four years to draw the large

    Thangka,(scroll painting), which has an area of nearly 1,600 square meters and weighs one ton. In the densest part of the Thangka, there are over 300 figures.

    And many scenes are drawn with very small hair brushes, so they can be seen clearly only under a magnifier. This large drawing vividly describes the Tibetan history, religion, culture, customs and nature scenery.

    Its appearance is bright and colorful. Its content is vast and profound and it is acclaimed as the acme of perfection.

    On February 2nd, 2000, it was exhibited in Xining Gymnasium for the first time and later successively shown in Beijing and other places.Editem.
