    QHNEWS--Qinghai and Dongfeng Motor Corp. signed an agreement on Establishing a Producing Base of Dongfeng Motor for Special Use in Qinghai on April 19.

    Yang Chuantang ,  Governor and the Vice Secratery of Qinghai Committee of CPC, Demg Bentai , Vice Governor of Qinghai , Ma Jiantang , the Assistant of the Governor and Tong Dongcheng , the Vice President of Dongfeng Motor Corp. participated in the signing ceremony, as well as sectors of the Provincial Economic and Trade Commission , the Provincial Land and Natural Resources Commission, and Qinghai State-owned Mechanical and Electrical Share-holding Co.

    According to the agreement, Qinghai will do its best to support Dongfeng to develop motor-related industries in Qinghai as well as to provide favorable policies ( on tax policy, purchase exemption , amount of motor replacing , and favorable policies to customers who purchase locally reequipped motors for special use and apply for local licenses).

    Dongfeng agrees to bring Qinghai Dongfeng Special Motor Corp.into the net of special motor re-equipment for management.

    A 5,000-motor producing scale is expected for 2007. Dongfeng also agrees that Qinghai Dongfeng Special Motor Corp. can apply for its own brand list which are shared with Dongfeng Motor Corp. basing on its asset. Editem (2004-04-20)
