QHNEWS--Depending upon the resource advantages of natural gas in Chaidam Basin, the installation of 0.3 mln-ton /year carbinol equipment is to start this year in Golmud.

    The 0.3 mln-ton carbinol installation , which is to be built in Golmud Refinery , is the key item on the Qinghai Oil Field.

    The installation , of which the mainbody includes the large-sized equipments of gas transform and carbinol compound and productive facilities as water, electricity ,storage and transportation, will adopt advanced techniques in the nation on transform and compound of carbinol , with a total investment of 600 mln Yuan.

    With a 300 mln -cubic meter gas consumption and a over 400 mln-yuan output value per year, the item will not only enormously boost up the economic strength and the structure adjustment of the Qinghai Oil Field , but also realize Golmud Refinery¡¯s transformation from a fuel-oriented to a chemical-oriented enterprise.
