The completion of Qinghai-Tibet Highway brings great benefit for Tibetans.

    QHNEWS--On December 25th, it marked the 50th anniversary of the completion of Qinghai-Tibet Highway.

    The Qinghai-Tibet Highway was completed its construction in December 25th, 1954 after the utmost efforts made by the road builders. 50 years has passed so far.

    The road composes a beautiful song of glorious past, prosperous present and brilliant future. 50 years efforts have been paid off. Now more than 85% of Tibetan goods importation and 90% of good exportation are done through the road.

     It offers a great convenience for transportation of the undergoing Qinghai-Tibet Railway construction.
