¡¡The Yellow river Longyangxia Hydropower Station is a dam of concrete gravity arch, the biggest dam has a height of 178 meters(the domestic highest), the total reservoir capacity is 24.7 billion cubic meters. (the domestic biggest), the installed capacity is 1280 MWs(4 ¡Á 320 MWs), the project is located in elevation of 2600 to 2800 meters that is high and cold oxygen deficit area, with extremly bad natural condition, the geology condition of the project is very complicated. And so called it "The Challenge Project" by experts in home and abroad. It adopts more than 30 new techniques in the construction process, all of them rank top level in the nation, there are also several techniques have the honor of acquiring  National Science and Technology Prize with the excellent design.¡£
