QHNEWS -- Qinghai will make efforts to support the development of large-sized enterprises.The province plans to fulfill the target in the next 3 to 5 years that there are 20 large-sized enterprises whose sales incomes reach 1 billion Yuan each .
There had been already 9 enterprises by late 2004, which fulfilled the "one-billion-yuan sales income"target. They are : China Natural Gas Corp. Qinghai Branch, China Aluminum Industry Corp. Qinghai Branch, Western Mine Co., Ltd., Xining Special Steel Co., Ltdl., Huanghe Upper Reaches Hydroelectricity Development Co., Ltd., Qinghai Qiaotou Aluminium and Electricity Co., Ltd., Qinghai Petroleum Management Co., Ltd., and Qinghai Electric Power Corp.
The enterprises the government is going to fully support have been listed in view of classified guidance and management. The names of enterprises in the list may be replaced or scratch off according to their developing situation.
Meanwhile , those listed enterprises will also enjoy some favorable policies. Editem (April 6, 2005)
