150 investment items set for 2005 tulip festival |

QHNEWS -- News from a press conference for the 2005 Qinghai tulip festival disclosed on April 26 that 150 investment items will be set in view of exerting Xining's resource advantage for the tulip festival. The approximate total investment is 15 billion yuan classified in 8 categories.
The items for this year stress on industry , agriculture, tourism industry, and infrastructure construction and more than 50 items have an investment of 50 million yuan above each.
Industrial items involve process of metallurgy, minerals, architectural materials, agricultural products and beef and mutton, which are of advantaged and locally characteristic. The specific industrial items mainly include the production of synthesized ammonia utilizing natural gas , potassium nitrate and composite fertilizer with a 2.9 billion-yuan capital in Xining Economic Development Zone, the production of all-shaped alloyed aluminum with a 860-million-yuan capital in Ganhetan Industrial Zone, the produciton line of cement clinker with a 335 million-yuan capital in Huangzhong County.
Ecological agricultural items involve ecological environment conservation, plant and process of Chinese and Tibetan herbs, building of milk-cow breeding base , agricultural byproduct planting and processing base and flower cultivating base. The specific items mainly include the ecological environment conservation with a 560-million-yuan capital, the Luxin Flower World in Western District of Xining with a 80-million-yuan capital , and flocks and herds breeding in Huangzhong County with 80 million Yuan.
Focusing on hazard house rebuilding in Eastern District of Xining, items involving real estate include the hazard and old house rebuilding at Zhoujiaquan with 900 million Yuan and the business area rebuilding of Shuijingxiang Lane of Xining with 500 million Yuan.
Tourism items include the Daheigou Forest Park and Qunjia National Forest Park in Huangzhong County, the street building of ancient architectural complexes for the historical Tea-Horse Trade in Dannger City (the ancient name of Chengguanzhen of Huangyuan County).
Infrastructure items include the Tiejigou River conservation in Xining Economic Development Zone with 90 million Yuan, the drainage projects in 9 towns in Huangzhong County, and the riverway control of the main section of the Nanchuanhe River (a north-south river passing through Xining).
