Rolling Stones: We feel like Marco Polo

"We feel like Marco Polo!" proclaimed Keith Richards, successfully upstaging Mick Jagger's attempt to conduct an orderly Rolling Stones press conference in Shanghai on Friday afternoon.

All four of the legendary rock'n'rollers put in an appearance during the 20-minute promo-interview at the city's Four Seasons Hotel ahead of their show on Saturday, but it was left to one man to do 98 per cent of the talking.

"Rolling Stone" magazine hits China

The face of Cui Jian, the godfather of China's rock 'n' roll, graces the cover of the first Chinese edition of the classic American music magazine Rolling Stone.

The venerable Bible of pop culture launched its Chinese edition this month focusing on Asia's emerging youth culture, while promoting foreign arts and entertainment.  Editem (April 9, 2006)
