¡¡¡¡As the host city of sailing competition of 2008 olympic games, Qingdao creats positively the city brand of " the capital of sailing". The theme of the promotion activity organized by Qingdao is " meeting at olympic games, and sailing at Qingdao. They have travelled successively to 18 countries and regions and held 36 overseas promotion extending through Asia, Europe, Ameica and oceania. In order to carry forward the Olympic spirit and promote sailing activities, Qingdao held the activities of "Qingdao" yacht sailing along the southeast coast line. " Qingdao" yacht, as the city image ambassador, has reached successively Dalian, Yantai, Shanghai, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hongkong, crossing Huang sea, Bohai Sea, the China east sea, Taiwan straits and the china south sea with a total voyage of more than 2000 miles. Qingdao began the promotion activities in the domestic inland cities on the basis of successful publicity in overseas countries and domestic coastal cities. It is planned that they would have travelled Xinjiang, Qinghai, Xizang, and inner mongolian from the September of 2006 to the August of 2008 before the opening of the Olympic Sailing Competition, which can make the people in the inland areas sense the the Olympic atmosphere and experience the passion in sailing activities and enjoy the unque charm of Qingdao.

¡¡¡¡Qu Qingshan made a speech that this activity brings the Olympic spirit and concept into Qinghai, which not only enhance the friendship, cooperation and exchanges between Qinghai and Qingdao in Shandong, but also creates a valuable opportunity for displaying and propaganizing Qinghai province. The yacht campaign came into Qinghai lake, which adds a beautiful scenery into Qinghai lake and attracts more people to come to Qinghai lake and sense the strains of Olympic atmosphere in Qinghai-Tibet plateau. It is believed that the success of this activity will certainly creates more favourable atmosphere for the 2008 Beijing Olympic games and display the enthusiasm of people of all ethnic groups of Qinghai and Qingdao to participate the Olympic games with absolute sincerity.
