A few days ago, Zang Niang Sang Zhu Temple and Zang Niang Pagoda in Dazhong Township of Yushu County in Qinghai Province were listed as state-level key protection units in China. The temple had nineteen pieces of national first-class cultural relic¡¢twenty-three pieces of national second-class cultural relic¡¢thirty-two pieces of national third-class cultural relic and thirty pieces of ordinary relic.

Firstly found in 1030, the Zang Niang Sang Zhu Temple and the Zang Niang Pagoda had a long history of nine hundred years. Because it was located at the remote area with poor traffic, it still remained many cultural relics. The Zang Niang Pagoda had a unique architectural style with many vivid statues of the images of the Buddha. Rich in deep ideas and national characteristics, it attracted many Tibetan believers and visitors. Moreover, it was well protected by the local residents. Reformed in 1980, it was listed as province-level cultural relic protection unit in 2000 in Qinghai Province. It would be well protected in the future to give full play to the local construction.
