Qinghai, the most important minority, mainly settling in the Menyuan, and Hualong Hui Autonomous County and Minhe, Datong Turkish Hui Autonomous County and the City of Xining, in Huangzhong County, Qilian county, and the remaining Towns also have distribution. Hui Qinghai ancestors can be traced back to the activities of the Tang, Song period. Hui Yuan large number of people mass resettlement Qinghai, and the Ming and Qing Dynasties Habitat Qinghai Hui people increased, with the Han nationality, and so after a long-term close exchanges between the fraternal peoples, and gradually developed into today reproduction system of the Qinghai Hui. 

GM Qinghai Hui Chinese text, in the religious life and daily life still retain some Arabic, Persian vocabulary. Hualong Kaligang and other places  use the Tibetan language or Han, Tibetan take up.
