Qinghai, the largest minority, the province's total population of 20.87 percent. Mainly in Yushu, Guoluo, Hainan, Huangnan, five Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the city of Xining, Qinghai Datong and some Tibetan areas living. Tibetans have a long history of the Qinghai Tibetan in the long history of the development of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau absorbed by the Tubo ethnic gradually evolved. Tibetan language is a dialect Tibetan language Tibeto-Burman language, in addition to Yushu in Qinghai Tibetan some stresses "Kangba dialect," are speaking of "multi-dialect" GM Tibetan language. 

Tibetans believe in Tibetan Buddhism.
