China appropriated an earmark again recently to protect and recover wetlands in Qinghai Province, i.e. Qinghai Lake national wetland nature reserve and Keluke Lake-Tuosu Lake provincial wetland nature reserve, which added the total investment in wetland protection up to 26.52 million yuan. The earmark appropriated this time will mainly used to construct wild animal rescue center, research monitoring center, ecological and hydrological monitoring stations, as well as to prevent wind and fixate sand, recover vegetations, and improve the local eco-environment.
